The City has launched a new, temporary process that enables residents to make a remote presentation to Council/Committee via teleconference. This new system was introduced at the Standing Policy Committee meeting on Finance on May 11, 2020.

Since Council and Committee meetings moved to a virtual platform in mid-March, the City has been working to identify a method of remote public participation that was low/no cost, widely accessible, and would pair with existing web streaming and virtual meeting technologies. This new system will ensure the City can carry out its work in a way that doesn’t compromise the safety of its employees or citizens while maintaining access to City Hall. Information on how to submit a request to present to Council or Committee is posted to saskatoon.ca/meetings.
